Knee Wraps for Heavy Squats
When sleeves aren't enough for your heaviest sets, knee wraps for squats give you tight support that you control. Each Bay Gear Co. knee wrap is 78 inches long and 3.25 inches wide, made from a polyester elastic blend with reinforced stitching and a slip-on loop: slide the loop to the lower part of your knee, wrap as tight as you want, and you're ready to lift. Knee wraps buying guide and FAQ
How to choose knee wraps
Knee wraps are long elastic wraps you wind tightly around your knee for your heaviest squat sets. As you squat down, the stretched elastic loads up, which is why so many powerlifters wrap for top sets. Unlike knee sleeves, which you wear all session, wraps go on right before a heavy set and come off right after. See Knee Sleeves vs Knee Wraps for Squats for the full comparison.
Length
Our knee wraps are 78 inches long. That's long enough for several tight passes around the knee, which lets you choose how much tension you want. If you compete, check your federation's current rules on wrap length and which divisions allow wraps.
Width and material
Each wrap is 3.25 inches wide and made from a polyester elastic blend with reinforced stitching. The width covers the knee well without being bulky, and the elastic gives you a firm, springy wrap.
The slip-on loop
Many knee wraps are a plain strip you have to start by hand, which can be awkward. Ours have a slip-on loop: slide it over your foot to the lower part of your knee, then wrap. It makes getting a consistent start much easier, especially when you're wrapping yourself.
How tight to wrap
Start with a moderate wrap on lighter sets and build up tension as the weight goes up. Wrap in a spiral or an X pattern, keep each pass overlapping, and tuck the end securely. Take your wraps off between sets. Step-by-step instructions are in How to Wrap Knee Wraps.

FAQ
How long are Bay Gear knee wraps, and how do I put them on?
Bay Gear Co. knee wraps are 78 inches long, one
size fits all, and made from durable elastic with reinforced stitching. Each
one has a slip-on loop, so you can put them on without a partner. Slide the
loop just below your knee, then wrap upward in overlapping passes and pull for
tension as you go. Take the wraps off between heavy sets.
How do I wash Weightlifting knee wraps?
Hand wash your Bay Gear Knee Wraps, don’t use bleach,
and let them air dry. Skipping the washing machine and dryer helps the elastic
and the hook-and-loop closure last longer and keeps the prints looking sharp.
Close the hook-and-loop strip before washing so it doesn’t snag. Rinse sweaty
wraps after hard sessions so odor doesn’t build up.
